Group Therapy Programs
Small language groups are offered for children ages 2-3 or 4-6 with a primary diagnosis of a receptive/expressive language delay. Groups meet one time per week for one hour and consist of four children and one speech-language pathologist.
Each session is based around a theme and includes time at the sensory table, opening and closing circle, snack time, motor time and art time.
Each activity is designed to encourage speech and language skills as well as socialization with peers given models from the speech-language pathologist.
Parents are able to observe and are provided with handouts regarding development, ways to follow through, and ways to encourage speech and language skills at home.
